Where are they now?

Since taking out MTV Kickstart 2007, Brisbane's Yves Klein Blue have ticked dozens of boxes on their career clipboard.

Busting onto the indie music atlas from relative obscurity, the band have since signed to Brisbane's own Dew Process label (home to The Grates, The Panics and The Living End) released their debut EP “Draw Attention to Themselves”, and gained regular radio play for their single “Polka” on JJJ and other community radio stations across the country.

YKB have already secured international support slots for Scottish trio Biffy Clyro, Canada’s Tokyo Police Club and Vhs or Beta.

On the global stage, the lads played the famed industry showcase South by Southwest, stopped by in NYC, opened for The Vines at the world-famed Bowery Ballroom before heading back to Oz to embark on their own soldout tour to grand reviews and slimy dance floors.

Future dates include Splendor in the Grass, Sydney’s Great Escape Festival and a full length album to be released in 2009.

Yves Klein Blue are truly on a golden escalator to the top!
