After coincidentally meeting in the city of Sydney The band began their musical mastermind as a young childhood 4 piece, then known as Toy Division. After learning their instruments, which took a good decade or so & coincided with a trip to india to visit the Dalai lama, experimenting with mind bending drugs and psychedelia, the band returned to Sydney as The Villainares. After many lonely sessions playing to the haunting ruined walls of White Bay, The band hit the gig scene.
