MTV is stoked to announce the 2008 MTV Kickstart Regional Finalists!

Around 700 acts from all around our fine country took part in this year’s competition, and the quality of the entries was truly astounding. The judges certainly had their work cut out for them as they set about whittling the final five from hundreds of entries in each region.

Now, after much deliberation, the results are in!

And here’s how it’s gonna roll…. The five semi final winners from Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and the Gold Coast will perform in front of a live audience where they will endure further scrutiny from our judges. Once a winner is selected from each region, it’s onto Sydney for one last hurrah, then, then it’s down to you guys to decide who’s going to be the 2008 MTV Kickstart winner! Happy Days!
